You have heard it before, that quitting smoking is hard to do. That is a bold faced lie, meant to perpetuate your dependence on cigarettes. If you believe it will be hard to stop smoking, then it will be. So get rid of the notion that quitting is hard. I know it’s not hard because people quit every single day. I stopped smoking over 30 years ago and have never looked back.

Hypnotherapy Stop Smoking Provides Good Quit Smoking Tips

What you need to get started is some good quit smoking tips. So first things first. You need to start thinking about all the reasons that you no longer want to smoke. Write them down, make your list up first. You don’t have to do it all at one sitting. Actually, after you write your initial list of reasons you want to quit, you’ll start to notice a whole lot of other things that qualify as reasons to stop smoking. And when you do, write them down too and add them to your list.

Once you have your list and you start to feel that this is something that is important for you to do, and that you are serious to quit cigarettes, then start to look around for help. One of the best stop smoking aids, is a visit to a hypnotist. There are other choices as well, like nicotine replacement, and drug therapy. Check around to see which way is right for you.

Smoking Cessation Hypnosis Uses Your Natural Abilities

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that almost all of us experience every day. It’s a familiar state that we usually haven’t yet learned to take advantage of. That’s where the stop smoking hypnotist comes into play. It is the job of the quit smoking hypnotist to teach you how your mind works and to reprogram it to do the things that are most important to it. That’s the territory of your protective mind. And since you have made a real and personal list of all the reasons you want to quit smoking, your mind is now ready to accept the powerful suggestions for change that your stop smoking hypnosis provider will supply.

When anyone decides to quit smoking they are beginning a process that involves some very scientific principles that might seem child-like acts. But they all lead to being able to quit smoking effectively. Smoking is a psychological disorder as well as a physical one. Most people will automatically ‘light up’ after a meal because they are used to the act of smoking. Others do feel the pangs of their nicotine addiction and these people are the ones that will find it more difficult to quit smoking.

However, to say that it is impossible to stop smoking would be wrong and it would send out the wrong signals to those who are finding it already difficult to stop smoking. We would say that the process of smoking cessation is long but it is not impossible to achieve. To begin with it is important to set a date by when you will try to quit smoking. It is really necessary to set achievable dates. But not being able to achieve the goal is no excuse to take up smoking once again. This is a losers mentality to give up easily.

Once you have set your dates you should tell all your friends and relatives that you want to stop smoking. They are the most important help you can get. It is important to drill lit into your smoker buddies that you intend to quit and do not let them laugh you out of your intentions. They are most likely to do so because they cannot do what you are about to do – quit smoking. However, if you can convince some of theme to join you in your challenge there is nothing like it. Make sure you earnestly request them not to smoke in your presence nor leave their smokes lying around as this will only entice you to pick up a cigarette once again.

You are going to need all the will-power you can get. So ask your friends and relatives to help you as much as they can. You will also need to remove anything in your home and office that reminds you of smoking or even suggests it. Remove the ashtrays, cigarettes, lighters and pictures that even remotely suggest smoking to you. You need to stop thinking of lighting up completely if you want to stop smoking.

You may need some psychological helps from other things as well. It will help if you kept a pack of gum in your pocket and popped on every time you felt like a smoke. Popping a lollypop after meals is a great way to keep from putting anything else in your mouth.

Mint is another great way to keep the smoking pangs at bay. Some people have not been able to keep their minds completely off smoking and so they need props like make-believe cigarettes that they keep in their lips. They also need some help in the form of nicotine gum and skin patches if their nicotine addiction is really serious. But, quit smoking they will. However, it’s not always because of will power.

If you want to stop smoking you should try out the latest program designed to achieve smoking cessation completely. Visit stopsmokingquitforever.com, and be surprised how much you can gain.

Virtually every person who attempts to stop smoking ends up gaining weight. It appears that weight gain simply comes with the process. Or does it?

My name is David Paul, and I have been a happy and successful nonsmoker for the past 13 years. Prior to my smoking secession, I was a pack and a half a day chronic smoker, hopelessly addicted to nicotine. What worked for me to become a nonsmoker was a rudimentary hypnosis program, the likes of which would be laughed at by today’s standards on how to quit smoking without gaining weight. What that program back in 1996 did not address was the 20 pound weight gain that I experienced after I quit (20 lbs on a 5 foor 4 inch frame is noticeable!).

Though a modest gain is natural, it is actually possible to learn how quit smoking without gaining weight entirely, and then take action to keep from experiencing any weight gain from quitting.

Why do people often gain weight after quitting smoking?

Smoking step-ups metabolism somewhat:

* Heavy smokers can burn up up to 200 calories a day more than nonsmokers

* Because smoking burns calories, metabolism is increased

* Nicotine acts as an appetite suppressant

Because of the nicotine factor, the early stages of a person’s quit is usually the most difficult time in dealing with, the urge to smoke again. The good news is that current research into the best ways to quit smoking without gaining weight is showing that it is possible now to gain zero pounds and maintain zero weight gain after quitting.

What can I do to quit smoking without gaining weight?

Well, the standard exercise and healthy snacking suggestions that you read about are solid advice. It is also wise to avoiding alcohol, and only take on one challenge at a time in your life. It also doesn’t hurt to take advantage of the current success rates (92.7%) that people are getting with the latest smoking secession programs that also successfully address the problem of weight gain after quitting.

In order to really maximize your chances to successfully quit smoking without gaining weight, current researchers in the area of smoking cessation have discovered programs that eliminate the problem of weight gain in the quitting equation. So, do a little homework and you will most likely find a perfect solution.

David H. Paul is a happy and successful 13 year nonsmoker. He has been helping people follow his path for over ten years.

David has developed a website, Your Guide to Quit Smoking Now, with more information and resources on how to quit smoking without gaining weight.

Every year thousands of people make quit smoking resolutions. Unfortunately not all of them succeed. In fact most people who make a resolution to quit smoking will not succeed in their goal. Why not? Because they do not know the secret to successfully quit smoking.

But you can succeed in your goal to stop smoking and be one of the winners. All you have to do is learn the secret that some smokers are lucky enough to learn in their first attempt to quit smoking, some learn in later attempts, and some never learn and they go through failed attempt after attempt to break their smoking habit. Knowing this secret will drastically increase your chances of success in your goal to become smoke-free.

Ok, so are you ready to learn this crucial quit smoking secret? Here it is:

You need to focus on the mental addiction instead of the physical addiction to smoking.

Most smoking cessation aids focus on the breaking the physical addiction to nicotine. It is true that you have built up an addiction to nicotine, but this addiction is gone within a week or two of quitting smoking. By then all the nicotine is gone from your system.

But the tougher addiction to break is the mental addiction, or “habit”, of smoking. Smoking has become such an integral part of your life. Nearly everything you do, place you go, and emotion you feel becomes associated with smoking. Smoking is second nature to you, without even thinking you grab for a cigarette when the need strikes.

Let’s look at it this way. Why do so many people go back to smoking weeks, months, even years after they originally stopped smoking? Don’t you agree that after that period of time the physical addiction to smoking would have passed?

It is because that somewhere deep in their minds the mental addiction, or habit, to smoke was till alive. Some circumstance, stress, or event “woke it up” and they did what came natural to them; they lit up a cigarette.

The good news is that there is a technique that is specifically designed to remove the mental addiction to the habit of smoking. People who use this technique to stop smoking enjoy a 97% success rate. That is way higher than any other smoking cessation method or tool.

This technique is called NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming. It is relatively unknown but word is starting to spread as smokers learn how easy it is to break the smoking habit with NLP. It works so well because it is designed to remove the mental cravings to smoke. It re-programs the subconscious to release the mental addiction to smoke cigarettes.

NLP is a completely natural way to stop smoking. Resolutions to kick the smoking habit can be kept without experiencing the high costs and side effects associated with most stop smoking medications. You can remove the habit to smoke simply by listening to an NLP audio recording that removes the mental cravings to smoke.

So, once again, the secret to keeping quit smoking resolutions is to remove the mental addiction to the habit of smoking. Using NLP is the easiest and most successful way to do this. And you can do it just by listening to an NLP recording that will make the addiction to smoking melt away.

There is a very powerful NLP recording that will give you a 97.2% chance of quitting smoking in under 40 minutes just by listening to it once.

–> Click here <–to learn how to get your own copy of this special NLP quit smoking recording.
